A Personalized Approach to Learning
Ipso School is a community based public high school that deeply engages each student through personalized learning experiences in a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Ipso School model will deeply engage students in meaningful learning through authentic project-based problem solving. Students will find purpose as they create positive change in their communities and beyond through a program that blends robust academics, development of 21st century skills, and social/emotional growth.
Networks and Relationships
Students will develop strong relationships to expand opportunities. Real world projects and internships will allow students to build relationships as well as skills and knowledge through deep collaboration with community organizations. Networks with peers, teachers and community members will support students to take academic and social risks in high school and beyond.
Students and staff will work in a diverse environment to allow for more creative solutions as they consider a wider array of perspectives. Each student will develop the knowledge, skills and habits of mind to be an active and engaged global citizen.
Empowered and Committed Teachers
Teachers will have several hours of dedicated time each week to collaborate and create personalized learning opportunities for students, as well as to engage in professional learning with each other. Teachers will be inspired and engaged professionals who help inspire and engage students.
